Potassium Sulphide is a light-yellow solid used as a reagent in chemical and metallurgical processes. When treated with acids, Potassium Sulphide releases hydrogen sulfide gas, making it useful in qualitative analysis of metal ions. It is also used in dyeing, tanning, and the synthesis of sulfur-containing compounds.
